Romancing vs S'poreans

yup... finally gotto noe wat the hype is abt c****n. if not, fred will start laughing at me again to say i v mountain tortoise. hmmm... aniwaes, shan't elaborate on wat actually happened, but wanna say wat i felt.

the whole affair was v romantic,but not the after shocks. read dat der gal in qn went to complain and the lecturer gana warning letter. then nus took out the video. 3 events, 3 reasons y s'poreans haf low birthrates.

let's start from the warning letter. y shd the lecturer b given a warning? (despite the fact dat i found his face v intimidating, i still believe he's a gd guy) all he did was to do a favour. and lecturers do many other things out of context of the lect to catch the students' attn. tok abt being creative. after all, it wasn't as if he stripped himself and did some obscene/immoral stuff.

maebe fish leong shd b given a warning letter also.

and then nus took out the video. ok... perhaps it's still reasonable, cos the server was flooded. but it was still spoilsport of them. the webcast was NOT a porn, so y get so worked up? and like some ppl said, such expressions of love always happens in lect, juz dat the particular one got caught on video.

they shd haf cancelled fish leong's concert. she gave so much hype abt it some more...

and abt the falling birthrates, can ppl now guess y? we r deprived of such romancing. and when some brave (but reckless, though) guy did something, he was immediately condemned. and the gal reacted in such disgraceful ways. now, who dares to do romantic stuff to ppl again??

and they shd haf banned fish leong from entering our borders. she was promoting promiscuity, taking love and marriage lightly in shallow ballads and and using it to promote her concert.

and lastly, the gal. the MAIN reason y birthrates r down. okok... 1st, it's so typical of s'poreans. i dunno 4 the guys, but it's usually the oh-so-hi-&-royal gals who turned out to be such spoilsports. s'poreans... when they find something they dun like, they blame the whole world but themselves. so human... and they like to blame the authorities too.

which was y she complained. but i dun tink the 'stressed out' reason was valid enuf. come one lah, it doesn't mean u stress u can do everything u like. the lecturer was onli doing a favor, the guy was doing wat all male species haf been doing from earth's creation for the survival of humankind.

if such stuff were to happen in US, and if they dun like the guy, most prob the gals will: 1) punch the guy in the face and ask him to scram 2) tell him str8 dat she dun like him. end of story. no hard feelings. unless she gana pestered by the guy, she can ask for court order. but most prob matters will end after the rejection.

perhaps s'poreans r lazier. they complain. the one-stop soln to all probs.

and considering how pompous most gals in s'pore r and how they carry themselves w so much wt (yup, lite physically, heavy inside), no wonder guys r turned off. yup... some may still lust after some 'pretty babes', but no guy would like to walk a dog dat bites along orchard rd.

and yup, may b male chauvinistic. maebe anti-feminism. but hey, it's juz our rxn. for those devout feminists, u can go w/o men for all u like, but there r women (and men alike) who yearns for someone whom they can live w for the rest of the life. and sometimes, it has gotta do w the packaging.

gals dun act sexy, how will guys catch sight of u? guys dun act like an idiot, how will gals haf feelings (disgust lah...) for them in the 1st place? gals like flowers, so guy gives them. guys r egoistic, so gal listens to boasting.

stereotypes... they're integrated into the society and basically essential.

back to my topic, her act, and the chain of events r typical disgraceful acts of s'pore. they dun accept humiliation and embarrassment gracefully, and always try to get the last word. and kiasuism wins... yup... it's always gd to b safe. can't b reputed for starting a 1st st protest in s'pore, when u're oredi up in the ranks of top 18 rite??

hmmm... we shd start to boycott fish leong's albums.
